Dr. Elham Ighani graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2008. She is dedicated to building trust through open communication, patient education, and a commitment to excellence in dental care. Dr. Ighani is passionate about teaching and is actively involved in academia. She teaches D3 and D4 students in a clinical setting as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University School of Dentistry. Her involvement extends to the Academy of General Dentistry, where she serves as a faculty advisor for their student chapter. In this role, she encourages students to engage in learning and find mentors to become exceptional clinicians who provide outstanding patient care. Additionally, she actively participates in the local chapter, serving as a board member for the Dallas AGD. Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Ighani is married and has two children, with whom she spends her time. She enjoys cooking, reading, and traveling with her family, finding joy in these activities.
